Beer League Hockey Practice

It’s never too late. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to play but never felt like there was a good place to start. Maybe you played as a kid but haven’t in years and want to get back into it as an adult. Maybe your kids are playing now and you want to be able to contribute or even just keep up with them on the ice. Or maybe you play now and just want to get better. Whatever your circumstance, Beer League Hockey Practice is the place to go for the progress you want.

Drills, skills, and thrills

Hockey can be an intimidating sport to start playing as an adult. Beer League Hockey Practice is a safe and welcoming environment for anyone who wants to learn and improve. Everyone on the ice is there to get better. Beer Leaguers are supportive of each other, and want everyone to succeed and have fun!

Everyone is welcome

Practices are designed to develop skills and abilities that every player needs to work on. All elements of the game including skating, positioning, shooting, passing, and conditioning are covered, and of course every practice is concluded with a friendly shinny where you can put your new-found skills to good use.

Chances are no one is emerging from Beer League Hockey Practice and ending up in the NHL or PWHL (we’ve politely asked the scouts to stop coming to recruit our players). We don’t take the sport too seriously, but we’re serious about creating an environment where you can challenge yourself, learn new skills, get a great workout, have a good time, and meet some cool people. We think Hockey is the best game in the world, and we think everyone should have a chance to enjoy it.

You’ve all made the team…
